Lookin to try a new tire for snow. I want to try the ko3 (never had ko2’s) in a 37x12.5 C load but it won’t be released for awhile. But.. I could do:

    39x13.5 D load ko3 (77lbs)
    37x12.5 C load ko2 (66lbs)
    37x12.5 D load Boss AT (80lbs ew)

I feel like the 39 would be an illogical decision. But idk I don’t wana have to wait until may next year to run them. Or I could just do the boss AT or ko2 anybody have an opinion?

I’ve had the boss MT and I always thought it was an awesome tire. Very lightweight and road friendly.

picture is of 35x12.5r15 Baja Boss MT on a Tacoma with a 6” RC suspension lift and 3” body lift

Hey there fellow Oregonian. Let’s see some more pics of your truck! I have no idea what the better snow tire is. Probably not the KO3.

Hello there lol. And sure here’s a few from the archives. Right now the only wheels I have are actually a 26” but I’m wanting to dismount those so I can run a winter setup. Maybe simply doing a 35x12.5 Boss AT would be a better idea to keep weight down.

Got some 37/12.5/17C ko2s from a raptor to replace my old 34s.
My KO2s are 63lbs, old 34s were 78lbs. Definitely would try to keep the weight down on the wheels especially with the 2.7

The truck will just feel better with the lighter options
