I’m hoping that someone might be able to help with this.

I have a Peragon tonneau cover on my 2021 Double Cab, Short Bed TRD Sport. (Happy with it so far.)

One of the reasons I went with Peragon is that it is quickly removable and I can use the whole bed for other things like camping.

So I bought a Napier Sportz tent for camping (ordered the one for Toyota DCSB) and found that it didn’t fit my truck too well. I also wasn’t wild about the geometric design with 7 poles that cross, etc. I like tents with simpler setups. Not particularly crazy about fiberglass poles either. I’m going to return it.

What I really wanted was a Kodiak Canvas Truck Bed tent. But unfortunately Kodiak said it wasn’t compatible with the Peragon cover and Peragon agreed. Looks like the C clamps that would be used to secure the pole rail to the Tacoma rails would interfere.

My question and plea for help: Has anyone made this Peragon/Kodiak combination work?

With some custom brackets it can be done. I did it with Peragon and Yakima Outpost HD.

Did you make brackets that tie into the bed rail system; i.e. with threaded T nuts?
