I'm cool. The mini split is set to 73 Americans, no suffering.

Wife was laughing at my miss fortune. She always gives me shit for backing into the garage. I guess I'm switching up my game get me a bumper cam.

 

Lowered the body into a couple HF furniture dollies. Makes moving it around the shop much less of a chore.

 

Done playing full contact Tetris.

Those HF dollies are so useful - you can't build them for what you pay.

In case you ever need it, a 2 cylinder Wisconsin sits on the small ones perfectly.

Been so long since I was under this truck, I forgot it has full, grease able U-joints.

Damn! It is fun wrenching on a vehicle chassis with no body in the way!

 

Engine/transmission removed. Ready for some minor cleanup.

I'll admit that I was always on top of oil changes, but I didn't always remove the skid pan. To remove the filter, you had to go in thru the passenger wheel well, but damn, you would soak the shit out of the frame with used oil and make a grease stain in your garage for 2 months.

 

Just some random pics so I know how to reassemble the front suspension.

 

isn't it! monday i'll get a picture of my newest project at work. salesman screwed up and ordered the wrong semi truck chassis. so now i'm moving the rear axle 2' forward..

 

Probably better than needing it 2' back.

 

Steering rack removed along with axles and spindles.

This truck has manual locking hubs. It's a pain separating the axles from the hubs, so I just removed them as an assembly. Heavy AF, but makes for a quicker assembly .
