I think she mostly stuck to Oregon when she was alive. She passed away 5 years ago. My Grandma still goes around and sells some of her stuff. She actually has about 500lbs worth of rocks/agates and such in storage of hers.

She had been collecting in the northwest for her whole life. She also bought a lot of little stuff here and there. I am sure it would be worth a lot of money if it was all put up for sale. Like I said before, next time I make it back to Oregon I will try to get a picture of all the rarest stuff my grandma kept of hers.

First time I ever felt an earthquake I thought it was my apartment maintenance doing something outside and lasted maybe 5 seconds. Second time it was obvious that it was an earthquake and lasted much longer, maybe 20 seconds but it felt much longer. But I was in no danger of the building I was in collapsing either time.

Point being that maybe knowing what's going on and being able to recognize it as an earthquake is good; at least if they can put a name to it people flip out less. Most of the time your house isn't going to collapse on you anyway with these little tiny quakes.

    Have a safe trip Keith!

Yeah, last fall Oklahoma had several little earthquakes. None of them were especially terrifying, though one of them was a 5.1 or so and knocked some siding bricks off houses, that sort of thing.

:pccoffee: sounds like Texas to me! Not many states you can dive for 12 hours in and still be in the same state heading the same direction

So pretty! Looks like a good evening to sit on the back porch. I love drilling rig lights.

Right after I started working in Oklahoma one night I went out driving near my rig. At the top of a hill I looked out over the valley and I could see about 30 rigs all lit up. It was pretty cool.

I still have a lot of friends who work there, they bought the last logging company I worked for. So... yeah, I wish them the best for my friends.

I believe electric cars are a huge reducer of carbon emissions, especially those that get their power from coal fired power plants.
