Ha - I'm with ya on that one - dude down the street tossed a 6 foot picture pretty piece of Poplar... I locked it up and snagged it -
probably $70.00 worth and it was just tossed.

 

They are “in transit” aka not built yet. Called my dealer about an TRDOR that they had listed as on the way. Guy said it wasn’t being built till 5/13 and they wouldn’t get it till 6/4...

 

I think I bought the last AG TRD OR in my area a few weeks ago.

Yeah, it’s crazy what people toss. I can’t lie, I probably have several pieces of furniture I got the same way damn near brand new.

I still stroll by nicer apartment complex dumpsters. Also stop for every bungee cord I see on the road. My lady still loves me

 

My gal is still mad at me because the next door neighbor threw away a brass base for a coffee table (missing the glass) two months ago. She wanted to make a planter out of it and I wasn't having it.

I said, please don't do the sanford and sons thing unless we're at least three blocks away, so that I don't have to endure the judgemental looks whenever I walk out to the mailbox.

 

Lots by me are empty also. Selling like hot cakes!!

 

Mr money bags over here with his 2 sheets of plywood and 2x4 scraps.

 

What's crazy is 6061 aluminum is now cheaper than carbon steel.

 

I stopped by the local bike/atv dealer last week and about crapped myself when they had nothing to look at. A huge showroom normally packed full of every kind of fun machine had 1 four wheeler, 1 side by side, and 2 Can Am Spyders. That was it! No motorcycles of any kind. Salesman said all people can do is put a down-payment and hope something eventually shows up. No sales or deals due to no inventory. Craziest thing I ever saw.

 

I called like 10 dealers trying to get one last week and best most of them could do was let me put a deposit on one and they didn't know when it was coming in. Finally found one an HR and a half away and rushed over there as fast as I could and bought it.

 

Local car dealer said he's had several bigger dealerships across the nation call him and offer a blanket $1,500 to $3,000 over sticker price on every new vehicle on his lot.

 

I'm waiting for the cops to show up and cuff me for stealing my SR5 V6 W4D Access Cab for list price of $33,400 .. for a while
I thought I must be crazy paying this price and now I think I could sell it for more than I paid for it... added bakflip mx4, nice
running step-boards, weather-tech all weather mats, bed lites and bed step. Rekgen mud flaps will round it out next month.

It will turn 1000 miles tomorrow noticed 998 miles on it today. Hopefully the first 1000 of 200,000+ ...

I went by my dealer today to pick up some parts and they are down to like 4 Tacos and maybe 3 Tundras. They are also having a deal right now on a Tundra lease at $299 for a 4x4 V8 crewmax model and with what I can get for my truck, it was very intriguing.

 

The dealer where I bought my Taco a year ago has been sending me offers as well, especially once they learned that my mileage is basically half of what it should be.

I was tempted to trade for a Supra for a brief moment. Then that moment passed and I'll be keeping my Taco...at least for now

 

Can't haul lumber in a Supra.. or a kayak.. or bikes... it can't go off road if needed... looks cool but the definition of cool is a Taco..
Plus you don't sit up higher and have opportunity to peep down at babes below you ...

 

Dont let him spend your retirement on some project!
