@KTJO 4x4 Thank you Katie! That Archive Spec spring looks like a nice fit in there, you really did well planning it all out and getting informed, happy to see it all coming together for you.

Just a couple pics from the beginning to where it currently sits ride height...

    6” BDS Coil-Over Suspension System

I still think I’m going to raise the front end another inch or so to level the truck out. It has a slight rake. Then I will measure it all and post some more pics and total ride height. Overall, I absolutely love it! I had my TRD Front Skid Plate cut today. It’s actually in my garage drying after I added some more Barcelona Red Color Match Paint to the cutoff end. I will most likely get that mounted up there tomorrow.

Well I didn’t get to install it back on the truck today but I did put another coat on the edge.

Not sure if I’ll ever use it, but I kept the cutoff section for now as well

Haha. It is. That’s why all Tacos need the modifications and BEAST MODE installed on it! ;)

So I think I finally found my Hidden Winch Mount that will work with my setup. I know it’s relatively a NEW product and there’s not a lot out there or maybe I just haven’t seen many pics of it installed. However, when I first purchased my truck I went with an AVID Front Bumper Guard.

    6159FD43-C4FA-4B22-A9C8-811613190088.jpg

I absolutely love it. It goes with the lines of the truck and there was absolutely no cutting involved which is like brownie points to me. If I don’t have to make cuts on my truck, I really really will try to find a way around it. Anyhow, I’ve been contemplating purchasing the SDHQ Hidden Winch Mount but that would mean I’d have to cut my AVID Front Bumper Guard as well. Then I looked into the SSO Slimline Bumper without the Recovery Hooks because they would not work for my setup. Mainly would be getting it for just the Winch Mount. A lot of money for just a Winch Mount. Plus I think the cut line is a little too high and possibly would still run into modifying my Front Bumper Guard which I do not want to do if I don’t have to. Then I ran into U.S. Off Road’s Hidden Winch Mount. I really think this would be perfect for my setup and I’m really really thinking about getting this. I will most likely purchase a flip up license plate mount so when I want to use my Winch, my license plate will be out of the way. I love the fact that it uses that lower section of the bumper as well as it’s similiar to the SDHQ version in the fact that you still get to use your factory bumper. I’m all about not losing the lines of the truck. I’m not sure about the skid plate being able to work with my setup, but I’m perfectly fine with just cutting the factory bumper locations for the recover points and the winch and not using the Skid Plate. I love the fact that this mount has two Recovery points included.

The time has finally come for my Cadillac 8 Note Horn System - Thanks to @BartMaster1234

In my first post prior to purchasing this system, I was thinking of installing 8 Total: 2 Driver’s Side Front Fender, 2 Passenger’s Side Front Fender, and 4 Up Front in Stock Location Behind Front Grill. Or.... I was thinking of getting the SDHQ Behind the Grille Dual LED Bar Light Mount and getting a custom bracket made that will be 30” Wide and be able to mount on SDHQ’s Mount. Then I could mount one system on the top and one system on the bottom.

Well, I have decided to go the second route. I have already installed my SDHQ Behind the Grille Dual Mount.

I want to know how much better they really are than OEM. I think the OEM horns are ok, but I guess I can't compare.

I agree, the 3rd Gen horns are fine, especially compared with the 1st and 2nd Gens but for me it is the tone. They are for sure louder, maybe 20-40% louder. It's hard to tell without testing because the stock horns are higher pitched which give a louder "impression." I don't know what the stock horn setup is but the Delco Remy 4 horn set is rated at 120dB. The tone is GLORIOUS. Katie will have a killer set with "8" horns.
