KTJO 4X4: no customer service

For anyone reading this regarding PayPal, your Visa card might have better resolutions as they have stipulations if you pay for something say in March but don’t get it till Jan(and then don’t get it) you still have 90 days to claim starting in Jan.

There has to be good documentation though which I doubt KTJO had saying say your product won’t be delivered for x days.

I am not sure if PayPal screws this up since it’s a through vendor type deal but I had good luck on a tour I paid a year in advance getting back due covid

I really like her idea with the HUD, it’s super cool.
Unfortunately I learned a long time ago that preordering items can be a crapshoot (thanks GameStop). I figured I can wait for it to be released and in stock.

In the meantime I took a stroll through eBay and figured $30, plus a splitter for the OBD2; why not?



One piece of Velcro later; works great. The device does not look OEM, compared to her product, as expected.



My biggest complaint is that the reflective film is visible from the outside.

 

And also @eledobleu and his LED headlight scam! At $1100 a pop, some TW folks got burned on that adventure.

 

Just an update on my end, i was able to get a refund on my grab handle a few days ago.

 

Well, I pre-ordered The Drivers side Grab Handle a few weeks ago, I really want it , so I'm going all in and wait for it!

 

How were you able to get a hold of KTJO, I've been trying the past 6 days with no response. I was thinking they were still on some type of vacation. lol

I ordered the wrong color Grab Handle and wanted to make an adjustment before it ships out but... . Now, thinking I may cancel my order too, no CS support here.

Did you get PayPal to Cancel Order and Refund? or via KTJO?

 

I've never had a problem with her, have her bowl lights and tailgate locker. I will be ordering more stuff from her when it's available.

 

I pre ordered the hud stuff back in march. anyone ever heard any news on that?

 

You were basically a kickstarter early adopter, hopefully you used a credit card

 

I've seen an update or two on instagram i think. maybe check there.

 

I have never had problems with her, personally I think she is one of the best developing unique products with a vision of what your truck should have and connected without altering all plug and play

It is unfortunate that she is not in this forum as it was a great resource, but this forum is not mine and I do not decide who is and who is not.

 

This was my problem with her - ordered a set of bowl lights...three weeks later, nothing. I see that she now offers Ice Blue so I email her and also message her on her FB page asking to switch. Finally after 3 days I get a response n Messenger saying she "thinks" my order was shipped already. Then a bit later another message saying "if it hasn't shipped I'll swap the color." WTF? You don't know if it shipped. A few days later I get an email that my order shipped...reflects Blue, not Ice Blue. I email and message her again....no responses. The package arrives...Blue. I message her again and after 5 days she replies something like Oh, wow, that was the box that's been sitting in my truck for the last week. I finally just sell the blue set I have because I won't deal with someone who isn't honest with me..and a company with this level of customer service. I understand that I ordered the blue set...but there is no way she shouldn't have been able to make the change, especially when she said she would..or to at least communicate more efficiently.

We all have free choice...mine is to not use her products or support her business.

I had to check facebook for it all. I messaged her multiple times, no response. I finally posted a long shitty comment on one of her posts after she ignored me and she finally got back to me. There's some color mishap, but I THINK all the gears are in motion? It's really hard to tell honestly.

 

Got a text and email yesterday my one touch window harness had shipped. So maybe by weekend I'll have a small project to do.

 

I search this Forum almost every day looking for Cool shit to do to my Truck! I Just saw KTJO's Grab Handle!? Never heard of her before ( yea I'm a noob here) I've spent a Crap load of money so far thanks to you Guys...THANKS! lol
