Anyone gone from racing 250-300 2 Strokes to a 350 XC-F? I run mostly GNCC and NCHSA racing, and am looking at a bike that may be too good to pass up. Thoughts?

Just kidding. I used to ride a 250xc and loved it but am curious as to what the 350 is like. Have you ridden it yet?

For the love of god don't do it!

haha jk, but seriously, coming from a guy who raced a 250XC 2 stroke in hare scrambles for a couple years, stick with the 2 stroke. They never flood and fail to start, bullet proof reliable, and way more fun. Plus they rape in dead engine starts.

I haven't ever raced a 350 but have ridden one and found it pretty lack luster in the power department. I'd say try and find one to try out and go from there.

The deal fell through. It was a '12 with 12 hours on it. I was going to trade him my '08 250 SX and a K-5 Blazer for it, but someone with cash got the bike. Was trying to avoid buying new, but it looks like that may be the route I am heading now. Not sold completely on the 350, but a couple of guys I ride with have them and love them. Decisions, decisions.
