    On another note, hard to keep track of the many PMs received with no purchase.

    So I've got a set welded and primered set; pricing as stated in the OP so $60 shipped.

    First come first serve and will ship today.

    *Sold*

    Cut a few today; have 1 set unaccounted for so if someone would like a DIY variant I'll offer that first.

    Otherwise, won't get to it for another 2 weeks.

    @quetzal

    You're at the top of my list, first set that becomes ready has your name on it (very soon, shown above)

    @JakesTacoTRD

    As mentioned, I have a set I can bend and weld up tomorrow

    Clean-up would follow the day after or so

    @Freck

    If you're wanting a set, please let me know here in hopes that I can generate some more interest and cut more

    4' x 4' sheet is pretty hefty and I'd like to cut multiple sets if there's more interest

    Bump

    Looking to see if anyone is interested in weld it yourself kits!

    Just need 3 committed buyers and I'll get another batch going

    Made these 2 last sets but with this weather, I won't be welding anytime soon again

    @Kwikvette diy kit is top notch, bend them and tig welded up. Test fit and super happy. Now off for some powdercoating.

    They might not be laser or water jet cut, or TIG welded and powder coated, but the goal is to offer an affordable option for something that shouldn't cost a whole ton of money.

    Plus these sit exposed to the outdoors for many anyway :burp:

    Funny you mentioned it. My wife just informed me she wants skids and sliders on her 2009 4Runner. You know, the one of been expressly forbidden to mod for the last 5 years. Yeah, that one. One of my first thoughts was I wonder if @Kwikvette has a tube bender. lol

    :rofl:

    JD Fab was my go to for getting a tube bender, and after an entire week of calling (during what I assumed would've been lunch hours) and a single email reply, I gave up trying to buy from them at the moment.

    I will buy one in the future, but my workflow hasn't been high enough for more tooling just yet!

    I do have some files for other skids, but aim to grow my CNC table so I can cut larger stuff.

    Going to either mod my table, or flat out buy a larger one :bananadead:

    Just too bad you don't have an 80 series LC, I have an extra 1/4" thick skid that I made only for the buyer to just stop communicating with me.

    WTF is wrong with people? If I had a LC I'd take it off your hands in a second.

    As far as scaling up. Take some serious time to think about IF you want to get bigger. Actually, @eimkeith would be a great guy to talk to about it. He was in a similar position a few years ago. He's also an all around fun guy to shoot the shit with.
