No rush at all. Just let me know when and where to send funds when you’re ready.

I installed my stiffies. Painted them glam rock gold, cause I dunno the paint was on my shelf so why not.

    Yo!

I am, just got 6 orders ahead of ya and been kind of slow as I do local stuff as well.

Thanks for the plug; they look bitching and I'm glad they clear your tray as I didn't even know you had one.

Yeah they clear with tons of room, my tray is like 1" up off the floor at its lowest point so that helps

Appreciate y'all being patient, I've got 7 bed stiffeners to make and I've got 3 sets getting getting burned in

To expedite my processing, I will look into a belt sender setup tomorrow as I didn't expect to get 3-4 average per week so thank you all for the support

Clean up is the one thing that slows everything down

This +100 degree weather hasn't been helping at all either :bananadead:

I would also like to add that so far 2 members have stated a slight difficulty in utilizing 1 of the bolt holes, see below (thanks for the picture @Speedytech7 ) -

    0904231723.jpg

Fortunately due to the location of the hole, it does not interfere with the stiffener's strength or integrity. However if you have one of my first sets and would like a little more strength, I'd be happy to cut a rear bracket piece for each stiffener at only the cost of shipping.

This will act like a "sandwich" around the metal of your bed.

Having been recently brought up, I will be moving up the bolt hole just slightly to prevent this on future orders.

    Thank you all!

    I did get your message.

Since these are small parts, I don't really mind taking payment after parts are actually made. Don't like holding a person's money if I don't have a product to deliver just yet!

Okay sounds good. Let me know though when you are ready for payment. I don’t mind sending $$ ahead of time, since materials cost $$. Thanks!

You're on the list for the next upcoming batch actually!

Just working on a bottom die so I can specifically press these and eliminate the use of relief cuts and stitch welding.

This will mean only the bottom corner gets welded and cleaned up for much faster turn around times and more production per batch.

I also ordered some hardware and I'm looking to see if I can find a local Tacoma to try a set out on as I'd like to start providing hardware if I can at minimal cost (as in I'd buy some hardware in bulk).

    Growing pains

Awesome, Kwik! No rush. And recommendations on paint and/or bedliner spray to put on them before installation?

I used Behr premium on a teal colored set, I'll ask how it's holding up.

The only other two I painted I had hit them with rustoleum self etch primer (only 1 coat, you want to let it fully cure) then just painted with rustoleum black from the silver colored spray can. I know one of those is holding up well.
