If you get going again I'd like to get a welded set?

    Thanks for the inquiry!

I won't be making any welded sets until I figure out a faster process that involves less welding/clean up

Would prefer to only bend these for quick turn-around and keeping a low cost to everyone as that was the main goal here

Oh dude, if I sell 2 more sets I could easily afford robotic welders

The bending and welding part is quick and easy, it's just grinding off the welds that takes a bit

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Weld the inside and then you have no grinding to do

I'll do a set that way and if I like them, then hell yeah great idea

Was contemplating cutting the center portion out separately at one point and welding it almost center between the legs

    We'll see

Well, I *may* cut out a different variant

Possibly, maybe..something that doesn't require clean up

    We'll see

How cool, I knew there was a reason for buying a welder and teaching myself how to weld. I have a big project coming up that requires a lot of prep. One of those prep things are bed stiffeners, I was looking at the AP or TC versions.. but would rather buy from someone local. So of course I'm going to want a pair..

I've been prepping OEM bedsides with the flares in preparation for a rear SUA kit. One of things I'm planning on doing is to reinforce the modified bedsides by welding in place some of the material I cut off on the insides where it matters. And to also modify and reinforce where the besides attach on the inside and install a bed stiffener on the outside. I need the extra effort because of how my spare tire carrier attaches. A lot of funny stuff happens back there that causes premature ejections while on the trail..

A lot of work planned all for a pair of these and a set of leaf springs..

I might know a guy that has a CNC table that often cuts out one-off parts for other people

    Just saying :anonymous:

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
@Kwikvette, did you ever confirm these would work on the 3rd Gen? I haven't seen the need for them, but having a WIY project couldn't hurt.
