Ok after a lot of research on suspension upgrades and back and forth of wanting a lift or not, I have decided to get either a set of KYB strut plus or an assembled set of 4600 from suspensionlifts.com.

Does anyone have any experience with KYB's?

Depends on use and preference. Lift or no lift, stock ride quality or firmer, on road or off road?

I bought a 2011 TRD OR that had Monroe Quick Struts (similar to the KYBs) in the front and I put 4600s in the rear. It rides nice, a bit firmer with less body roll than a stock SR5. My preference would be 4600s all around with stock springs but the Monroes in the front are fine so I can’t justify spending more. I prefer the way monotube shocks handle.

I had a Ranger that I put KYB gas a just shocks on and they were rough. Not sure if they are comparable to the Excel G on the Strut Plus.
