I've been wanting to add a 40+ in led light bar to the roof of my tacoma but
    A. I'm concerned about the wind on how it might hold up in the freeway or at high speeds.
    B. Don't really want to drill through my roof, is there any other way? Really concerned about water coming in eventually.

Alright this is my first reply but I have a 40 in light bar on my 2013 tacoma. When I first got it, it was annoying it made a harmonic noise and was loud and I couldn't stand it. I put some door insulation in between the cooling fins. Now it's great. As for water I've only had it for a month but so far so good!

I drilled into my roof rack but if you can find them they sell mounts

Many companies make bolt on light bar mounts for double cabs since they have holes in the right spots on the roof. As far as the wind thing, the bar will hold up fine, it's the whistling that will annoy you. But as the other poster said there are ways to eliminate that also.

As a double cab you are in luck, they make brackets that dont need any drilling. As for me, I am shit out of luck because I am an access cab and I have to drill.

Do I just lift up the water strip ontop the roof to look for the holes?

yes, lift up the rubber strips, you will see a piece of tape on either side in the same spots up front, peel that back and two threaded holes are underneath, this is where the bolts for the mount go. What I have yet to figure out, is how people get the power wire from in the cab, up to the bar.

I seen one guy on here said he ran it through a small hole in between the roof and the front windshield corner but I don't know about compromising dealing with possible leaks so I guess the best answer seems like drilling 1 extra whole since double cabs already have the 2 other ones pre - drilled.
