Hey TBK, I just got a quote today from my guy for a 30" bar that I'll either mount on my roof rack or lower grill like yours. Price was $1007 with tax and shipping. Does that sound about right or can you do better?

Just got mine yesterday. Suprisingly solid. I was execting a plastic housing, but it's actually solid - probably 1-2 lbs each. About the size of a square baseball display case. The light pattern (spot) is achieved by an optic/lens in front of the LED, a little above it. This allows the reflector to project the remaining light and throw it to achieve a little flood effect. Very cool :D

Was going to put them on my wife's car, but no good place. May have to cut the bumper, which probably means I should ask her first, huh?

Nice lights guys. Be sure to post a review once you have a chance to play with them a little bit.

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Are those the new model or the ones that were on sale a week or so back?

Any ideas where I can put these? I was going to put them on my wife's car, but I dont' think she wants me cutting up her grill to make a mounting spot.

I have Lightforce 170 HID's x2, and PIAA 520 Amber x2 on my Avid lightbar already. Thinking maybe in the grill, or maybe up on the A-posts like a jeep? Don't think I need them as pack up lights, though I suppose I could use them to replace the walmart junk back there.

    Ideas?

Yeah you just need a longer bolt and a few washers, which i will have to pick up after work. The wiring just plugs into the factory harness though.

Really, just pop out the old fogs and plug the rigids in?! I might have to put some amber ones up front in place of the factory fogs then!

Yeah I am going to get some amber ones if everything lines up properly. So far it looks like it will! Like I said you will just need longer bolts for the back with a spacer of some sort to move the lights out of the housing a bit. These lights just plug right in to the factory wiring!
