Stoddard wells / bell mountain

 

Although it's Sunday so i figure everyone is already out there

7 am huh. I've always wanted to try stopping at one of those exits and taking the dirt there. Just curious how rough and how long is it to the Cafe by dirt?

 

7am to be at there by 9 at the "Stoddard Wells"/"Bell Mountain"exit.Once exiting and taking the paved road into SW it would roughly take 45min to a hr and change to get to the cafe.It's a fire road that has areas of ruts and whoops but fun without a doubt.You have everything on the left and right side offshoot's for fun that connect back onto the main road.
Also all roads lead to SlashXRaceCafe.

 

I would love to try that out, just gonna have to convince my friends who're carrying their dirt bikes on their rigs. They want to unload and leave their vehicles at the cafe when they're romping around on the bikes, but maybe I can convince them to take that fun detour first

 

Well if they haven't been in the actual OHV area than there better of leaving there vehicles at the cafe.Cell phones can be spotty as well as ham radio channel/frequencies.The plan is to go to SlashXRaceCafe wether it's cutting through Stoddard Wells or taking the pavement to get there.

Yea the last time I was in that area the truck did ok. Messed with the bypasses some more this last rebuilt and I think it should do a lot better


Just haven't asked anyone if they wanna go that late (obviously lighting is required and ham radio is a must)

 

Just talked to one of them, they're fine with following us along through the ohv area. Both have been there before, just last time they left their vehicles at the cafe and rode the dirt bikes. I was thinking of following you out there if that's cool, both of my friends live nearby

Following along with everything loaded up. It's Devon with his jeep and the dirt bike on the back, that thing is pretty secure. The other is a chevy truck on 33s or 35s he should be fine. I figure we won't be going fast (relative to my version of fast ) so they'll be good
