So yeah, have any of you guys done this trail? I don't think its anything super long, or that difficult...but it connects to Kitchen Creek Road and I think also sunrise highway...

But the last couple times I've come to a closed gate right as the trail begins the main incline to go over the pass. Anyone know whats up?

Bought my Adventure Pass for the year today and then had a frosty burger mmm. I think I'll join you guys at CC next weekend.

Never even heard of the trail. That's a bummer about the gate. I get those as well when I hit up or try to some of the dirt trails off of Proctor Valley Rd. This road connects East Chula Vista to Jamul. Oh well. Like you said, there's always CC.
