I am going to chop my fenders like yours to better fit my 285/75's. Could I tie string to a pencil to mark it or does the marking device need to be more rigid?

Pencil and string should work. The wheel and ruler isn't a perfect method either, it just helps get the line somewhat straight. In the end its how smooth of a cut you make that counts :)

That's true. I plan on going at it with a air cutoff tool, dremel or maybe a die grinder. The die grinder worked surprisingly well for boring out the dashboard switch holes to fit carling switches. Your fender chop looks very clean. Great mod. I'm pumped to finally get more clearance.

So I will be installing my suspension parts tonight and tomorrow. I am going to get a dry teflon lubricant for the Uni-Ball. My question what type of grease are you using on the UCA zerks. I have a grease gun with basic automotive grease in it. I am just not sure that is a okay to use.

Edit: The stuff in my grease gun is Green Grease.

Yeah, I just use the generic auto grease too, I forget the brand. That reminds me that I should probably hit them this weekend, its been awhile.

I don't have any fender supports on the cab side rear fenders. Are there some there when the truck is stock? I don't remember

:facepalm:Hmm, I am not sure why that wouldnt work. It shows a picture of your truck, so I clicked on the link. I'll post the link to the bing search.

    http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=onion+reservoir%2c+nevada&FORM=HDRSC2#view=detail&id=1F5D2596D68742B8462A12514107924BFE829CEF&selectedIndex=75

    Maybe that will work.
It seems as if technology is once again winning. If you scroll a little ways down it has the picture of your truck when it was stock coming out of knott creek. I was just wondering if you had any affiliation with the page. It seems to not be US.

lol. No affiliation to the page/site. I think I posted that pic on TW a couple years ago. It was when my truck was just a wee lad.

I go out there every year and stay for about a week fishing/camping/relaxing. I love it out there. Can't wait to roll out there with you guys on our excursion this summer!

I was reading through our thread and thought I should post up a pic or something, get some people fired up and I ran across that picture. Truck has come quite a ways!

I installed my WOs this weekend. Took the seats out and vacuumed out all the crap that had accumulated under the seats. I like them so far, I'm sure I will like them more when they start to break in a little.
