Yep, air hammer and fork like others suggested. It was like the old bushings were melted in there. Major PITA. I had to use a steal brush dremel attachment the get all the old crap out. Burning rubber, yum!

Finally finished the rack install this weekend. Getting the old one out and the new one in took me about 2.5 hours. Then I realized I didn't replace the o-rings and knew it would bug me if I didn't do it so I spend 20 or so minutes undoing the plumbing, replacing them, and putting it back together. Also replaced the blown nitrocharger while I had it all apart. Going to call the alignment shop in a few hours and see when they can get me in so I can go back to DDing this thing.

The old rack was definitely done.

Yep. Those wheel center caps just stay in until you whack them with a mallet. "heat welded"

Well I woke up this morning excited to drop it off for an alignment. Started to pull out of my driveway and kapoweee! I'm pretty sure the ticking noise I heard coming from the passenger front on the way back from wheeling last time was my CV. And I'm pretty sure I grenaded it this morning leaving my house

And back on jackstands we go!
