It (a ladder) is not decoration, like a RTT! :)

    You're welcome.
Sorry if you took my comment as an insult. I just tell it like I see it.
As you say, you wanted people's opinion. That's what you got. When you post a question here you won't always receive the answer(s) that you really want.

It's called a sport bar, a roll bar is completely different. So you should call it the right name if you are going to get mad about people calling it a fake roll bar.
And CT Yankee's point is a valid one, roll bars are intended to support the entire weight of a vehicle where as most sport bars are made to support a couple lights.
Fake roll bars (sport bars) could bend during heavy braking depending on how much weight is leaning against them and heavily damage your cab. On convertibles they call those fake roll bars mouse traps because if you flip your car they will snap on you like one.
So him asking how much weight you plan to have on there is very important on the answer to your question.

The bonus of the thule is that the height is adjustable to the needed task at hand.

I have an XSporter Pro is like to get rid of if you’re near the Southeast & have been convinced by others’ statements.
Had it on my old truck. Hauled all kinds of stuff. Bed rack would def be my recommendation, for versatility alone.
