Hey everyone I don’t want to do it but its time to sell my custom Tig welded Rack that I made for my 2014 Tacoma. It was made from a few different racks that fabricated together.

There were a few reasons I did this but I didn’t want to bolt into the truck bed so instead I went on mcmaster carr and found the correct Nut that slides into the truck bed rails. There’s a front basket for camping gear and plenty of lash points.

Another reason I wanted to make my own is because I didn’t see any racks on the market that followed close to the roof line you can see from the pictures that the front basket looks like it touches the roof but it really doesn’t I filled the gap between the rack and the roof with a surfboard foam pad. This cuts down wind noise and when your driving down the freeway you really cant hear any wind noise I got very lucky because this was a after thought and something that didn’t occur to me until finished up welding everything. (again Lucky)

The outside was painted with truck bed liner that I rushed on and should be done again. I live by the ocean and it has been awesome for all my surfboards and camping trips but you can see some surface corrosion from the salt water.

My suggestion would be to hit some of those areas with a wire brush then re-coat with more truck bed liner.

I don’t want to get rid of it but I need to and would rather it go to someone that will enjoy it. I’m asking $400 even though I put more into it then that but I need to get rid of it ASAP.

Let me know if you have any questions I live in Carlsbad San Diego I whiling to drive half way if you live further away.

    Let me know
