I didn't want to do this and was really hoping for a better outcome but I wanted to share my recent and only experience with Mesa Customs. After hearing a mix review regarding the quality and at times difficult customer service from Mesa being a "one man" operation, I decided to pull the trigger on the Total Tail lights. $150 plus $11 priority shipping (2 days). Keyword: Priority shipping. Order was shipped on the same day, great. Two days nothing. It's ok because I was going camping for the weekend anyway, no worries. End of weekend, nothing. Getting close to a full week and still nothing. I'm tracking the package and it appears to be idle in Oakland, CA. I emailed their provided email from their site and got a hold of person by the name of Trevor. Trevor insisted that they "have done everything right on their end and that USPS is having an issue that they have no control over, sorry". Not understanding exactly what that meant, I stated that maybe if I was being charged for a two day delivery service, they go with a more reliable and reputable service. Trevor replied that USPS has been very reliable and reputable and that tracking should update soon since it was the weekend. I advised that apparently the service hasn't been reliable and I expected a refund. Since then Trevor has ghosted me with no reply and the package still idles in California. It's been exactly two weeks since I've order the item. No refund, No product, No replies. I'm sure some of you will say give it time and it'll arrive but I just want my money back and move forward from this sour experience but this guy insist that the money is his regardless if I get the product or not.

Shipping timelines once the package is dropped off are not the responsibility of the vendor, ever. Your complaints need to be directed to the USPS.

But’s that’s where reliable and reputable comes in. You charge a paying customer for a service that doesn’t deliver, any company with good customer relations and service would acknowledge the missed delivery and offer a refund or reship of the product. But instead offer no alternatives? Would you be happy?

This has nothing to do with the vendor. You paid for 2 day shipping and assuming they paid the shipper for two day shipping the vendor’s hands are clean. They have absolutely no control over what happens after the package is dropped off. Have you called USPS to inquire about your package?

I don’t think you understand what’s going on here, it’s obvious there’s been a shipping issue, I know that, the vendor knows that. The problem is the vendor won’t acknowledge it and still insist that it’s reliable and won’t refund my money.

Every delivery company has issues. Although the response could have been better. Definitely call USPS.

I 100% understand what’s going on. The vendor isn’t driving the package to your house. You paid for them to give it to USPS for delivery USPS says takes two days. Your complaint is with USPS.

Just call your credit card company and do a charge back. The vendor will have to respond to it and charge backs are not good for the vendors payment processing. By the look of it they use Shopify and if they are using Shopify payments then too many will get the processing shut down.

So by your logic, if you buy something from me and I print a label so it looks like I sent it to USPS but you never receive anything then it’s not my responsibility?

Nope, if the vendor didn’t give it to the shipper it’s on the vendor. In this case MESO gave the package to USPS at which time responsibility for delivery falls on USPS.

As soon as label is printed it’s starts tracking. Doesn’t mean it was dropped off. OP says that the status haven’t changed. Meaning, it hasn’t moved.

Once the label is printed the tracking just shows pending, awaiting receipt of package. It won’t show a location until USPS scans it in the system.

It will show “label created”, then “USPS in possession of package” then shipping statuses as it goes through the system. So no, you can’t just print a label and claim you shipped it.

Assumption on my part based on the OP specifying the package was sitting idle in Oakland, CA which is 100 miles from where Meso is based out of.
