    FWIW, I believe only the shipper can insure the package and the shipper is reimbursed if the package is lost or damaged.

    As said numerous times already, the OP should initiate a chargeback request with his credit card.

    Meso should open an investigation with the USPS. If the USPS lost the package, Meso will be reimbursed up to the limit of the insurance they purchased when they sent it out. (I don’t know the standard insurance on USPS priority packages, but I think UPS has $100 as the basic / included insurance ).

    Only the shipper can buy the insurance, so telling the OP to take it up with the USPS isn’t right as even if the USPS says “yup, it’s gone”, the claim goes to Meso and the OP is still out his cash.

    Fairly sure I have at least eight orders from meso. One of his required a small conversation to fix an issue, which happens with many vendors. I'm talking to someone else who sent me the wrong color shift knob right now. Not a single one has made me go online and cry about it.

    Sure. On the flip side I’ve had a package go missing and in one instance a package get misdelivered. I called up both the general usps customer service as well as local depending, and state the issue. Always had it resolved luckily within a day or 2. Had a package just sit and not move for 10 days and day after I called to complain it started moving. As opposed to going back and forth with a vendor who sucks.

    This thread is BS, I asked OP to post the tracking number so TW members can track the delivery of the package with no response. I will gladly retract this statement if and when OP post the tracking number.

    I will admit that taking to a forum to vent about this is a bit extreme. But the retailer is the one with the burden here. Nothing the customer can do. Any action must be taken by the vendor with the shipping agency. All the customer can do is request a refund or dispute the purchase. All these people telling him to call USPS, come on. That is not how any of this works. LOL...

    I had an order with Oakley a couple of months ago. I tracked the shipment, got to the sure post USPS bullshit. Showed delivered. It was not at my door or in my box. I gave it a few more days and no package. I sent Oakley an email. They apologized and reshipped the order that day, next day air. That is how things like this are supposed to work.

    So I just had a brief conversation with my psychic in regards to how it was going to go for me in the divorce.
    As long as I had her on the phone, I asked about the OP's package. She says dude has it, the turn signals are hyper flashing and he's creating a new thread as we speak..

    I dunno.....had OP taken the one simple step and contacted USPS to try to find out wtf is going on before coming on here I would bet that 99% of the people giving him shit would be on his side instead. If USPS can't/won't help him then he could have gone to MESO and say welp....did what I could to see what's up, ball is in your court now and again, he would likely have near universal support. If you want an engine to run smoothly you lubricate it, you don't pour sand in it and then wonder why it won't run.
