    Thank you so much!

But when you see the pics I'll be posting this weekend you won't think it's the same truck. Hahaha

Tomorrow I will blackout the badges, fender flares, and front valance. So it will look more like an Off Road model than a Sport model.

I'll then install my skid plate & tow hooks.

Can't forget the TRD Pro Grille! Already dipped and ready to install.

Still have to make an appointment for the leveling kit, window tint, and two-tone leather interior!

Plus a few of my own badges, like "TEXAS EDITION". LOL.

I'm very excited and really look'n forward to gett'n the mods underway!

Sounds ambitious for sure. Especially with the cold weather approaching

    No time to dilly-dally!

Mid 50s Thursday & Hi 50s Friday, and Sunshine!

Conditions should be perfect for the mods to begin!

Started the prep work to dip everything. Badges, fender flares, and front valance.

Cleaned everything with a 50/50 mix of alcohol/water. Then I used the air compressor to blow out any water, since it was early there was a bit of condensation. Then one last wipe with a towel.

Let the dipping begin. Unfortunately I didn't have to time to remove the paper yet, Dr's appt, so I'll wait until tomorrow.

Also will do a bunch of other mods, the weather should be perfect, plenty of sunshine and 60!

Here's a couple pics. Used 3 cans of Black

You're gonna have a lot of fun! Plasti-Dip is pretty much fool proof.

One tip I can give you is; it works better the warmer the temp. Don't recommend temps below 50. Plus keep the spray can warm too. I had mine in the basement and put them in my sunroom first thing this morning. It sprays much better warm. So the cans were at around 75. Otherwise th spray droplets get big and sorta clump. Warm it stays a nice thin mist.

Takes several coats before it even starts to look coated. By the 4th coat it starts look'n okay. The more coats the better. I did about TEN COATS. Didn't see a point in keeping a half full can.

    Thanks!
I actually have a pair of pants similar to that already - although, a cheaper variety. LOL I might have to revisit this again next spring. We packed up our fishing gear for the year - hung them up on the wall, and put away the trailer. We have a very large group of people coming for Thanksgiving and we have to do the 'Super Clean' of the house and get it ready for guests. LOL

Don't you just love it....that SUPER CLEANing of the house because guests are coming? But ...I guess, it's the only time the house gets a really good cleaning cuz I certainly don't do it any other time!! LOL

lol My mother has always done the same thing for company. Her crazy comes out when she thinks she's hosting. I'd just take the stance of making the house clean, but not caring about how clean the relatives think your place is. Because god knows they will leave it a bigger mess than it was before the deep cleaning.

my favorite time to do a deep clean is in the first warm air of spring, and the first cool air of fall. Open the windows up and let the freshness of the outside come in! + pinesol. lots of pinesol....

I keep an ok clean house day to day. Company coming? I might sweep just before arrival for good measure. If you're judging me on my housekeeping, you're not welcome at my place. I live in my house, it's not a museum. I don't buy cheap crap to decorate like Martha Stewart for people I don't like anyways. Come visit me for the fabulous person I am ;) or keep the hell away!

I don't think he will be back. I suspect he's been reply banned from this thread at a minimum.
