It is to a point. The bike needs 2 tubes from the head tube (where the fork drops in) to the seat tube (where the seatpost drops in), with one the bike would have extreme flex while pedaling and be very brittle. How they run the tubes is not as important per se as long as there is more than one.

While not night and day, it is also less tubing to run the top (higher) of the 2 tubes lower thus it still exists in lower end bikes.

As one who raced BMX and did freestyle for many years..still do to a degree actually..I've taken a good amount of spills onto the top tube and it sucked each time. Another use is the old freestyle bikes, one would stand all over the bike to do tricks.

One of my present collection..1986 General Fred Blood, 95% original including the tires.

That said, I've always seen tricycles as unisex.

    Attention Please!
I have an announcement to make!

I am home alone at the moment. I just used the last square of TP AND I replaced the roll!

    I also closed the lid.

Having not read through all this garbage i will assume you struggled with this before and are on your path to recovery or sobriety or something. So... good job.

One more thing on the bikes..

Look up the 1980's freestyle bikes. A lot of them came in many colors including pink, lavender, neon orange/green, and so on. I rode a baby blue bike for many years and had some pink trim.

I would hope that that's a natural course of action for everyone and didn't need to be detailed.

Lots of bitchin on which gender is to blame for each detail. Set up or down. TP left empty. Refill. Blah blah blah. You didn't miss anything.

TP..you use it almost all up, you replace it.

Seat, you put it where you need it.

Those are my house rules..full disclosure just me and my wife.

OMG Yosemite has the shittiest (pun intended) tp. Single ply, you can see thru it!

Visited a friend at San Juan Islands NP (she's the Super). Used the vault latrine there. Came out rejoicing and complimenting her TP contract. Double ply, and quilted! In the outhouse!

I'll see your "secretly" and raise you a "what kind of fucking heathen are you to put your TP roll on backwards?"

    It started a group debate.

It quickly broke down into a drunken war.
