    Please pardon me ladies...

For F'n sake....... I just got an AARP membership invite subscription in the mail today - $16 a year they say - I get a free bag - they say.

Really!!? For god crippiddy sake......I'm not even 50 yet (coughNovembercough). How does this happen? <evil pissed off smirk>

I should send them a 'feedback' letter. EXCUSE ME???? Can you please not push me into my grave just yet!!??? THANK YOU!! I'M NOT 50 YET!!!

Ok, so I am curious if the benefits are even worth it? We already have AAA - which offers similar benefits (I would think). Funny...but everytime an 'old' joke comes up, I always say..."Hey, I can join AARP next year" etc. But damn...I didn't mean 11 months EARLY!! LOL

@Normagene : Do you feel your bug deflector is worth it? I've gotten a lovely crack in my windshield and thinking of investing in one.
Autoanything has rebates to wear i can get rain guards and a bug deflector avs brand for about $75 right now.
Thinking it's probably worth it. Other people's input wlecome too!

Pics of the crack: (need to upload a the pic from this morning. this crack now spans the entirety of the windshield)

I think it's worth the money, and I like the look of them, but how much do they really work......can't say for sure. I know I've had a few things ping it and go over the windshield.

That doesn't mean a rock won't ever chip the windshield.

Probably some good deals out there now, after Xmas specials, they gotta unload inventory. I paid $53.96 for mine Plis I got the two vent visors, they were $37.34 plus shipping. Total was $106.76

Super easy to install. I went with the "in-channel" style. I like that look better than the edge/lip stuck to the truck. The hood one I got is called: AVS Bugflector II.

I'm sure you can find better/cheaper prices now. Hope your insurance covers the windshield.

Yup that's the same deflector I was looking at. In channel ones too. I know it's not a cure all. But if it helps, why not. It'll cost me $75 with rebates. Auto anything price matches, so I'll have to try that too. They have the vent visors a few bucks cheaper on Amazon. Also going for a tonneau :D. Found an okay one for $250. Should do me alright for a few years until I have more free money for a real nice one.

Yup that's what I was looking at. Figure I spend that much at starbucks every month, might as well spend it to possibly help my truck, lol.

I'm totally weird and ocd only about cleanliness, so we're all good, haha.

Eh they have this fruity drink with green coffee in it. So I get it without cutting it with water and ice like they do. The equivalent caffeine to about 2 cups of joe... I can't stand the taste of coffee, so it's the only healthier option I have vs energy drinks......and I have a mad caffeine problem.

And the in channels look good. I'd never go for the ones that stick out. And AVS is so much cheaper than weather tech.

I was forced to go the other route with my last truck. They stayed on fine but not my preference.

You're overlooking other options. I was a big soda drinker most of my life. Still have an energy drink now and then but BCAA powder is another good wakeup call.

Yupp they have $35 in rebates going. $100 to start, but I get the money back in the mail. And I threw them into Google ND Amazon had the vent visors cheapest. S I'll see if they price match that. Definitely doing so with the tonneau. Everyone else has it $20 cheaper.
