Alright ladies, need y'alls opinions. Graveyard thread full of men is no help for me with this, lol.
    ........

Dipped my grill, wheels, badges, and rear bumper this "weekend".
I need to take the grill back off and add another thick coat. Apparently my 7 before that weren't thick enough! lol
Considering making the toyota emblem a different color.

Should I go with pink dip to match my incoming sliders? Or blue krylon spray paint? (they have a blue that is pretty damn close to bbp).
I don't want the truck to start looking too "a bit of everything", so I'm scared that if I do blue on the emblem it'll look odd.
But the pink emblem && sliders may be too much pink too..?

oh and for future reference I'll be doing the BHLM in not too long to further de-chrome this truck.

Huge Slayer fan. I had a "rarities" cd a few years back that I can't find. Had some really good stuff on it. Live undead, south of heaven, hell awaits....allways loaded on the memory stick in the car.

I was a so-so slayer fan until I went to their show with anthrax this past summer. Never have I stayed in the pit as injured as I was for so long (two god damn painful headbutts to the face, and the usual side hits). I just fucking loved it. Started listening to them more and became a much bigger fan.

    Nice!!
I kinda lost some interest after Jeff passed away but slowely trying to get into the newer stuff. I hadnt listened to much since "God hates us all"...i'm all about the early years.

However, i've heard a few tracks from "Relentless" and it sounded pretty awesome.

I'm guessing that was a custom made disc. Can't go wrong with that stuff..mmm

I've seen them about 20 or more times now. Not much for pits at my age though. I saw that tour when it came to CT in September.

Jeff's passing sucked plain and simple but yes Repentless is good stuff..a couple of the songs were stuff Jeff started working on before he fell ill.

I've been a fan since Reign in Blood was the current..wore that tape out a few times. The tape had the entire program on each side so no need to flip it after a few songs.

Nice job, and it Looks Awesome!

Pop the emblem out and try the blue, if you don't like it switch to the pink and see how that looks. You're spraying the color over the dip I'm guessing. Should work fine. The grille looks way better dipped. Gives it a more menacing stance!

Blacking out the chrome in the headlights is a pretty big mod. Definitely looks better, but it's a big job for sure. Looking forward to hearing/seeing how that comes out.

We regularly have Turkeys too. I'm fascinated with the California quail when them come by. Still waiting to see the mountain lion and bear.

Same. Lived in Florida for nearly 20 years. Never cared much for the beach. But, I absolutely love the rugged pacific coast. Cliffs. Tide pools. Real waves. I could live there!

Plus it implies there's something wrong with not being married.

I like the heat but I'm more of a pool or creek person

You know what? My dumb sleep deprived self was going to take the dip off before the blue! How stupid. You're smart. Blue on top of that black dip and it will still come right off. And it'll be good for the meantime. The sliders won't be on for a few months.

Had one of those low voltage bulbs in my basement for well over a decade. Yesterday morning I went and turned on the lights, the heater, and radio. We have our home gym in the basement, then went back upstairs to have my pre-workout drink while it warms up a little bit down there.

I go back down stairs and see Smoke! I look over at the light and its hissing and smoking. I immediately turned it off.

If I had waited any longer who knows I may of loss the house to fire. That was crazy scary/spooky.

I emailed the gov site for defective products. These old type bulbs are already on their list, apparently I'm not the first to have one ignite. So they emailed me back today and want me to file a report, which I will do.

Anyway, if you have one of these old type bulbs be carefull. I now have all low voltage LED bulbs, but I didn't replace the two of these types that I have figuring they were fine. NOPE...... I was Wrong.

I'll take a pic and post it

I've read lots of post and seen videos where they dipped only to spray paint the color they wanted over it because they didn't want it permanently.

That's the best part of dip, get tired of it and you peel it off. It's pretty durable too, the side moldings on my little car were done over three years ago and it still looks great.
