Consider resale value. You're going to have to find a very specific buyer or take a big hit on trade in value.

Oh there will never be a trade in on this. If I do it'll be driven to the point that it's only worth a couple grand and not worth it for me to fix. This is all plastidip. So very easily removable.

Many folks have said that before. Including myself. I bought a brand new 2015 4Runner in May. Traded it before I even had it a year.

Not sure what the market will bear for pink sliders...

That is if they're even left on though. Most people would just pull them because unlike the "conventional" steps or bars nobody would pay for them.

The only reason I've gotten rid of a vehicle in the past is because it wasn't running or about you die out on me. I plan to do the same. And I also don't have the money to waste on the depreciation of trading in a vehicle so quickly.

As for the pink sliders? All I'd have to do is go back ov er them in black...

I thought the same of my 2006 Colorado..and my plan was to keep it for 10 yrs. The engine blowing in 5 changed that, but fortunately it was basically stock or easily changed back.

...which I'd owned GM for a long time prior and never had that kind of issue, even though almost all of them were already old. Somehow they see that as normal..yeah..

I've had vehicles that I've driven into the ground and used for target practice as their finality. Others I kept for only a short time.

Not sure how this one will go.

Ya it's funny when you look back at all the different vehicles you've owned over the years. Seems like I've had close to a dozen different manufactures/models. Some really good, and some not so much.

Like to one day be in the 200 mph club, on the bucket list for sure. 181 is my record to date, but that wasn't my car. 160s dozen of times in my muscle car.

Definitely have a Need for Speed!

100 mph is fastest I've gone in my 1978 trick 2wd Toyota, that was fast enough for me.

Nice! Not sure what year that camaro was, but wow what a difference in them today. They aren't just crazy fast off the line and down the strip, put them on a road course and the way these things can handle a turn is phenomenal.

Great way to get the heart pounding and adrenaline jacked!

    Was that on the autobahn?

I got the chance to drive a couple different cars thru northern Italy! Plenty of twists and turns, fun fun fun!

Then of course all out on the autostrada (not sure about spelling) but I remember the speed limit was determined by engine size. Thank god semi trucks are not allowed in the passing lane!

Always guaranteed you'd see a few Supercars flying by.

    Yes.
A9 from Munchen to Nurnberg. I also liked driving from Munchen to Salzburg .
Lots of speed limits now, but still wide open in rural areas.
1st time I had a Peugeot wagon where I cruised at 140. When i got it at the rental place, I thought, what a POS. Wagon, Diesel and a Peugeot.
I was wrong. Stick car ,big turbo and no lag. Not the peugeot of the 80's they imported here.
Drove my FIL's A8 and a couple C class cars and they flew.
And yes, Supercars are at home there. Saw some 911's stretching their legs.

Sure was yup..that was a 1984 base model with the F41 package. It was a DEA undercover car before I got it.

I've had my truck for almost 9! I remember when I'd get bored with my vehicles after 2 or 3 years.

I've done 160 in my WS6. Backed off the throttle after 2 old guys flew by me in an AMG SL55.

    Not familiar w/the F41 pkg.

Funny you say DEA car, the BBC Top Gear show, Clarkson said: Only Two kinds of people drive Camaros.

    Drug Dealers & Murderers

Hahaha, what a great show that was, three guys who refused to grow up. But I gotta give Clarkson and Hampster credit they sure can drive. I loved when Clarkson would be looking at the camera doing 140 mph with one hand on the wheel in a full out drift, just calmly explaining what he likes and doesn't like about the car.

Then he'd complain because the nannies are telling him to slow down you're over heating the brakes so he would begrudgingly say ok I'll slow down to 130. LOL
