    This is lake Sabrina, just west of Bishop CA. That whole 395 corridor up to almost Tahoe is fishing heaven!

    I grew up on Mather Airbase back in the 80's. I can remember going to Placerville to camp in the Sierras. I did a 50 mile Trek on the Kitt Carson trail when I was 8. I can remember catching Dolly Vardens by hand in a low mountain stream. Good times

    I didn't check the temp but it's at 8500+ elevation and the low that night was low 40s. I'm gonna guess Cold!
