Going to lake anna in Virginia around the first of May. Has anybody been there. Any tips would be great. Would like to find a place to launch for free but I don't think they have any free ramps. Planning on bass fishing.

I pass their all the time on my way to my inlaws house. I always wanted to go fishing their. How was your fishing trip? Did you have to pay to launch your boat?

Fishing was fair. Only fished it one day. It was after a front and it is a big lake. It was 8 dollors to launch. Needed more time on it to do better. Fished Lake Izak alot. It was very close to the place that i stayed. 100 yards to the ramp. It was only 60 acres. Did better on it. Plan to go back and fish Anna more. Was with the wife so i did alot with her.
