If you want to go this weekend with me, it sounded like he could use people. I'd email him if you're interested. But I think he needs people both weekends so dont bail on the 11th to make this weekend work

If you're going to, hurry, it's this weekend and next weekend. I'm leaving after work today for snag lake.

And it looks like I'll be camping alone
    :pout:

What am I going to do with all these blue mountains? Paging @Fernando

@EDDO make sure you send me a time and meet up spot for next Saturday. You're leaving in the morning correct? I know you don't camp so don't go there. :D

So there are two snag lakes in CA... this is the one i think he means. This is the one I'm planning on staying at this coming Friday. If I wasnt on call for work, I'd be on my way right now.

Where is everyone camping for next weekend? @EDDO said to meet him at 5:30am in Rocklin and I started thinking it’s a good time to camp. @tyfoon11 @FirstTimeFirstGen

I'm loving snag lake campground. I rolled in Friday after dark and didn't really see any open spots (did not want to blind anyone looking either) and a cool group of guys let me crash they're spot Friday night. Saturday night I had my own spot and one of the guys from the first night came and hung out. It was funny, I expected to camp solo but was never really alone except for nap time after the first run. Temps dropped to low 40s during the night. The days were a little gusty so bring a sweatshirt and some pants. 10/10 will be in next year pending acts of god.

The runs went great. For those who havent done this before, the trail is mild. I got the pleasure of being a chase truck behind @EDDO. That guy drives. Just got home. The snag lake campground I stayed at is directly off 89 and about 20 min away from the church. I was stupid early both days, but it gave me time to make sure I was ready for the day.

Sounds like I will be looking to stay at snag lake. Will you be rolling out Friday?

Yessir. Around 530 or earlier if everything goes right. I'll (hopefully) be packed and off work around 330. Usually takes me about 30 min to change and drive home. Itd be nice to take a shower before getting on the road. Will grab dinner en route. Show up and hope theres a spot. Well that's my plan at least.

I’ll try to get off work early on Friday and meet up at snag lake or meet ya a long the way somewhere. If that’s ok.

For you guys that have already done a run. How long did it take? I'm planned to go up on Saturday and work the next day so it will be a one day deal. Am I screwed and going to be out all day?
