Me too but it works better and easier if you take the light assembly out, and use a heat gun.

I like that skid plate color, did you paint it with a rattle can or pro paint.

I'm a big fan of plasti dip, that really looks cool.

So I got around to doing mine. This was my first time to remove fogs on a Tacoma. I nearly knocked out my MFing teeth in the process. Curing should be A OK by tomorrow. Sunny and 75 on Christmas lol. Pics to come. (Of the lights not my teeth)

I sometimes wish my truck was regular red so I could do cool plastidip skids but they don't make impulse red plastidip. Maybe gunmetal though...... but my truck has black pinstripes and badges so then again I may just leave the skid as is

You could also just paint the lens with gold metalcast for the same effect. I did it on a set of fogs before I got some Lexus projectors that are already yellow. Easy to do and only $7 a can.

This stuff is great. I did that to my old fog light bulbs but that was because the lens was already pitted to shit. Went with Lamin-X for the PPF qualities.

I noticed some stained glass spray paint on the shelf and highly considered it. Anyone else tried that in different colors? For example a light smoke tint on tails and how quickly does it fade
