yep. honestly if it was as reliable as a toyota, i'd love to drive an older cherokee. i think they look pretty good, i just don't wanna have to fix it all the time.

Jeeps are gay! Not cool with me! I would hate to ruin a cool toyota meet with a queer ass jeep. Nothin against ur buddy but jeeps are turds and of coarse they are good offroad: high clearence body, front and rear lockers, straight axled, made of sheet metal with no interior and they weigh 3000#, and thats all stock!! Yes we all know jeeps are good offroad vehicles. But I dont give a fuck, they suck and are gay as fuck for a daily $35k driver. Can anyone come up with an arguement!? Cause id love to hear it! And ” I think jeeps are cool” isnt an arguement

As a daily driver, you're exactly right. I do know some people who own jeeps who actually wheel them as a hobby, and for that they excel. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on something that is ill suited for what I do 90% of the time. Yeah, I go offroad a little bit, and that's why I have a trd Tacoma. Great as a dd, can tow and haul when I need it to, and it's very easily modable to get it as capable as I need it offroad.

yeah and i try really hard to not be a jeep hater but theres a group called Mid South Jeeps and there is a shit load of them in Memphis and say theres 30 jeeps, 27 of them are brand new and have 10k+ into them and never touch dirt. 3 of them are older jeeps and a older cherokee and are always covered in mud. I like those 3 guys, the other ones i find to be dueche bags. Buy a jeep to enjoy as a cruise around with no top vehicle, buy a jeep use it as an offroad mainly toy, dont buy a jeep and put every accessory possible on it and never take it offroad AND try and act like u drive a nice vehicle . . . . CAUSE U DONT!!!

    ok im done :D

thats what makes me mad. And then dudes try and act like "Oh i got a jeep! Im fuckin badass!!" I guess im not a jeep hater, im a THAT GUY hater

Early next year would be awesome! It's about 130miles from me which isn't but over a 2 hour drive and that would give other people time to plan to get stuff ready for the meet also get any camping gear they might need including myself lol. I sold my pop up when I moved here to nashville due to living in a apartment :(

I live in Texas now, but I was born and raised about 15 min from the LBL, on the Kentucky end. I spent my childhood in the woods all over that place. Wish I could make it. I am only up there now about twice a year. I go spring turkey hunting on Ft. Campbell, then finish the season out in the LBL. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. There are alot of pretty good trails, and climbs all over LBL. I was usually at the North end near Grand Rivers. Jenny Ridge, Race-track Hollar, Energy lake and Turkey Bay all have some fun roads and great camping areas with good fishin' holes. You probably won't find too many hardcore trails, or very many rock climb roads. You may have fun down in Race-Track Hollar and Jenny Ridge area if it rains though, it can get pretty sloppy. And up in the Jenny Ridge area there is a cool old fire watch tower where you can see for miles.
