If you don't plan on having passengers in the back seats, get an access cab....

Plus, it's the perfect excuse not to drive when the buddies wanna go out

Nah, I am all for the long bed. I am about to convert my single cab to an 8 foot bed, the 6 foot wasn't long enough. It's a truck. I am know to haul stuff with it. I am alllllll for long beds. Sadly 90% of the trucks on this website are DCSB.

At 6'4" you're going to be cramped in a long bed. Buddy bagged an elk last season and had gear on the roof and meat in the bed of his DCSB sr5.

I went with a TRD off-road because I wanted the larger brake booster, atrac, and rear locker. I've slept in the bed (I'm 5'10" tall) and while it wasn't super comfortable I made it work.

The shorter wheelbase is going to be a better choice offroad. When I have something that doesn't fit in the bed it goes on the roof or on a trailer.

I've had my truck since 2012 and there was only one instance that I wish it were a longbed...sleeping in the back during a storm.
