Curious what options are out there for a sweet seat swap(SSS). Can a Land Cruiser or Limited T4R seat fit a 2nd Tacoma without a lot of fab work? I understand there are after-market options, looking for the possibility a Toyota seat that's an upgrade(comfort, maybe electronic adjustments and factory heated seats). I suspect airbag wiring would be the same, just wondering what the mechanical fitment compatibility may be.

    1. Toyota/Lexus especially if similar vehicle probably bolts right in
    2. if it needs metal fab work, oh well. I don't see why not do it.

Fab working a seat seems like the easiest part to me, versus getting everything else one would want:
    -good angles
    -heated
    -cooled
    -powered
-any other potential electrical stuff if needed like safety system/airbag and whatnot

at this point, I think I've seen people fit
    1. BRZ seats
    2. Audi B8/B8.5 S5 seats (possibly Recaro)

On one side, it should be a good weld. You don't want the seat going flying if somebody hits you.
On the other side, it may be regular and thin steel, not requiring the most expensive welder. Which is only if you're welding it vs having someone else weld it for you.

The lumbar support is never adequate for long trips. I might consider this, myself.

Great thought. If seats from a land cruiser or gx bolted in that would a be incredible. Can anyone confirm?
