I have access to a very experienced and qualified USA mandrel pipe bent and fabrication shop who makes all kind of custom bending and fabrication from Homedepot to Boeing storage facilities. I'm throwing around an idea of making those sick LR Defender roof racks for a shelled Taco, long or short beds.

Looking for some honest inputs, interests and constructive opinions if I should proceed and if there's anyone might want a set to offset the design/development cost. Not in to make money. I just want something that fits my taste.

I think it would look pretty cool, but only if you have big tires on. If you put a big rack like that on a stock setup, it might look "top heavy".... aftermarket big wheels and suspension would off set that. just my initial thought...
