Agree, the braking and acceleration is done quite well while on dynamic cruise control. But we have to be aware for the unexpected as it’s not always the case, but it definitely helps some to improve overall safety.

The manual mentions the sensitivity can be adjusted, however, the braking system will override the warning in severe situations I think is how I understood the manual.

It is opposite of the dynamic cruise control settings. Three bars is the closest warning down to one bar being the furthest audible warning is how I understood?

Above all else, it says to keep the area clean in front of the camera for optimum working levels.

My saleman’s also told me my OR has lane departure assist, after I specifically asked if it’s just a notification or if it’ll steer.

As far as precollision warning sensitivity, what’s the preset? I think I may have set mine higher because I wasn’t getting shit when I felt like I should have atleast gotten a warning.. this is coming from my wife’s Outback, and I think Subaru’s implementation is perfect. Now I get the “BRAKE!” warning all the damn time for no reason.. well I think it’s being tricked when I’m driving during the daytime and pass over a shaded area. Does this system use the camera as well, or just the radar?
