Hey y'all! This is my first post as I've been referred by many to join this forum.

I am in need of hybrid tires. I'd like to go as large as possible without any issues.

    What are you recommendations?

Everyone is giving you the best recommendation...it is an inch increase in diameter which should not/will not rub the front tires.

I'm contemplating a TRD Lift which will give me more options to go up to 285s and keep the 17s.

It's a lot to learn so read up and don't take our word for it! lol

These. They make the truck look really good and drive excellent without messing with the speedo.

    265/75R16 work well for me.

Any recommendations for brand? I've been quoted on the PTF Pathfinder and leaning towards purchasing.

Depends on your use. Mostly street use or do you go off-road?

Mostly highway but I do drive on gravel, rock roads for 4-5 miles at a time a weekend a month. I'm definitely looking for a hybrid. I tried going to Toyota dealership and they were of no help.

You could go c rated ko2 in 265/70/17. You could also do falken wildpeak, Goodyear ultra terrain, Toyo at3 and Nitto Terra/ridge grappler in the same size but SL rated if mpg and weight are a concern. My gf has c rated ko2 on her FJ and they're just okay in wet/icy. I had the wildpeaks and loved the look but they wore faster than I'd like. I'm picking up the SL ultraterrains this Friday to give em a go. Edit: also had the toyos on my 2nd gen and they were a great all around tire even in snowy/icy conditions

    I went with BFG Ko2’s 265/75/16
I opted to keep the original rims and no rubbing on my 22’

I am in Texas and from the Chicago. So no icy conditions anymore for me. Y'all have been amazing. I'm just a Toyota newbie.

I think Falken Wildpeaks in a 265/70/17 size is a good option, although I have since turned to BFG Trail Terrains. Better on roads, particularly in wet conditions, and great on dirt as well.

Now recommendations for wheels? I've decided on the Goodyear BFGF Trail Terrains. Thanks for the advice!
