New owner of a 2013 four cylinder - first Toyota after years of Jeep Wranglers.

I want to increase size/tread - has stock 245/75/16s on it. I see the threads on rubbing/tire size but I want to know about performance. If I put a 265/75/16 on it, what can I expect for performance?

Don't really care about speedo inaccuracy or mileage. 4 cyl is small enough...how sluggish will it be with a larger tire with more aggressive tread?

You will notice a little difference in power not much. And your speedo may actually be closer than it is now.Check it now with a gps most ive seen are 1-2miles fast factory. But if your worried about power and handling just do it.Youll have no problem there.

I am going to regear mine to 488s next week. But thats just because Im running 285s.If I was still running 265s I would not regear.I really didnt have a power issue with 265s

265 is the stock size anyways you shouldn't have an issue.
