OK this might sound really stupid but i got a set of big mud tires gave to me the other day and just tried them on the back ,fit ok but im sure the front dose not have the room to clear everything. So what im getting to is ,whats all the bad crap that can happen with driving with a/t in front and some biggg mud tired in back.. and just lay it all on me iv looked this up for 4wd trucks and from what i read its a really bad idea but mines 2wd so idk if thats better:confused:.

I've seen old school trucks with bigger tires in the rear. Dragsters do it.

It won't hurt anything. The reason you don't do it on a 4wd is because when locked in 4wd your front wheels would spin faster than the back causing the transfer case gears to get damaged. The only way it would hurt a 2wd is if you put a big tire on one side and not the other.

No issues mechanically. Depending on how much bigger the rear tires will be, it'll handle like an old barracuda though. I want to see pics of this!!
