That's what I'm talking about.. I have seen 5 lug with Suspension and body lift combined.. 5" in total.. Meaning a 5 Lug has advantages in not messing with the suspensions ..

Very good question.. Not sure at all but research.. Check at the dimensions of the fender spaces

Black box mod does not apply to fiest gen tacomas, how ever 30x9.5 tires is about max you want to go with s 3” lift on a first gen

Well.. The Best way to lift a 5 Lug 5" 1/2 to 5" 3/4 to 6" in total depends on which strut spacer you use combined with a body lift.. They do not make 6" Suspension lift for 5 lugs.. That means you really are not changing the Factory Suspensions. Meanwhile everyone that has the 4x4 or v6 automatically go for the 6" Suspension lifts.. I heard a few had problems with the drive shafts and sensors because suposely some Tacomas are not meant for 6" Suspension lifts.. But if you think about it.. You can always lift a v6 or 4x4 like a 5 Lug and not have any problems.. That is my opinion.. I always heard going over 3" lift is a headache..

The best suspension you can do for a 5 lug is a either mid travel or long travel which while only lifts around 3-4" you gain alot in travel and use upgraded 2.5" shocks. As for body lifts I don't trust them off-road. Yes people do it but also people have had issues.

1st gen 5 lugs can be lifted 6” up front by using spindles and doestch ucas and coils, the rear you can get 3-4” with shackles and aal, as for 2nd gens idk.

Depending in the Lt kit you get you can get 3-6” of lift. The standard Lt kit combined with lifted spindles is 6” of lift.

    3” lift 30” , 6”lift probably 32”, LT 32” , LT extreme 35”, LT with spindles 35”

Serious talk.. It's funny how I see some of you posting here about Tacomas.. Most of you should be working at 4x4 shops.. Because I had some F*cktard tell me at 4Wheel Parts of Miami tell me that it wasn't possible to put a lift on my 2015 Tacoma 5 Lug with strut spacers.. Due to the fact that it wasn't possible because I wouldn't be able to align it.. Lmao!.. I had a 2.75 Leveling kit and I took it out.. What special kind of idiots gets a job at a 4x4 shop and doesn't know Wtf they are talking about and doing.. Down here in Miami.. If anything.. I recommend Champion 4x4.. They know their stuff

I'm running a 1in body lift. IMO 1in and under is a safe size to run. Anything over that will have steering problems. I've done a pretty decent amount of offroading for a 5LUG and have yet to see any flaws in my body lift.

You should have no problems at all with 30x9.50r15 tires.. I had them on before.. I did 31x10.5r15 and it was hitting the fenders on a big bump.. 30's are perfect

I had a 2.75" Leveling kit and never had any steering problems.. Maybe a Body Lift? I never heard anyone having problems.. With a Base model like mine.. If you have a 1" lift.. For sure you will not have issues with 31x10.50r15 tires.. Well.. I believe depending of the offset of the rims.. I am running 15x10's

The biggest I would go on a 4 cylinder are 33's.. 35's are huge for a 4 banger lol.. Now with 15x10 rims on 32's are slow.. Not sure how 15x7 or 15x8 rims with 35x10.5 would be like though .. Hmm

Body lifts are damging for a number of reason and some may not all apply to you, first off doing a body lift requires alot more then just putting spacer on if your going over 1”, you need to extend your shify linkage, steering column, fan shroud, etc
Next some times body kits are actually designed smalled diameter then the oem mounts which puts added stress on the mounting area.
Next when your lifting your body in the air its makeing you very top heavy so going fast in a corner can be sketchy. Not that only applies when you go really tall 1” is about max you want for a body lift everything else gets sketchy
Lastly with your body being highr off the frame only supported by long skiny bolts you will get more body flex, the added leverage from the body sitting high can either bend the mount or just break them off completely, granted this only really happens when you are off roading alot street drive doesn’t really put any stress on your truck

Lastly they just look ugly if you go tall 1” is ok but 3” is ugly the amount of space between the body and frame showing is ugly just look at all that space with a body lift
