I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma, I recently hit a deer and damage the bumper cover and the head light, So instead of putting a plastic bumper cover back on I thought about a full replacement bumper and a leveling kit. My real question is how size of tire can I fit under it with the leveling kit??

    Thanks

I would think it would be pretty heavily dependent on the bumper you choose. Most of the rubbing I had on my truck from my 285/75/16 duratracs was on the splash guard under the front bumper. It's also going to depend on how much height you add and which tires you choose. In general though, 265s are the biggest you can go...doesn't necessarily mean you couldn't make 285s work with the right bumper and maybe a bit of trimming. If you have stock wheels you will need wheel spacers for 285s.

There is also the skinny 33 option. 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 (I think those are the sizes..)

Honestly I am pretty new to this whole process. I have never really messed with any of my other vehicle. I live in the country and its not if you will hit a deer, it when. So a full replacement seems the way to go.
I haven't looked much into the leveling kit as much as the front bumper. Thanks

I would recommend full suspension kit like Old man emu or Icons and a steel plate bumper up front to protect your investment

With stock suspension I'd say 265 but I've seen 275's but they did rub a little.

Just wanted to let you know we are doing a 20+20 sale next month for Icon suspension and our products you could get both items mentioned for 20% off.
