    I have a 3" susp lift on regular tires 31"x10.5"x15"
    and wanted to know whats the largest tire size that can fit on that rim?

    So, it's a 1st gen. You have 3" suspension, so I suppose you can run 33"s. As far tire width, I can't tell as I don't know the stock rim's width.

    Someone with 1st gen should be helping you soon.

TRD Supercharger. Pioneer PRS-80 stereo with JVC center console sub and Alpine 5-channel amp and door speakers. TRD Cat-back exhaust. Gel-pack battery. Hi-lift jack.
    Correct, it really depends on the width of your rims.. and maybe even an offset as well?

    A 285/70 is 31.7 inch diameter and 285/75 is 32.8 inch diameter. As you can see, the 2nd number (rim width) makes a difference in the overall dimensions.

    I'd recommend a thinner tire for better MPG and less chance of rubbing.

    isnt the second number (75) a percentage of the height ? (distance from the rim to the end of the tread) and 285 the width?

    I'd like to go with the 285/75 15
    anyone know if they might rub a 98 with 3 inch lift on stock rims?
