    Wtf is a "7jx16 ET 25 rim"

Same rules apply to 3rd gens.

So yes, @Patton250 a 265/75r16 tire will fit. I have no idea what wheel you are referencing, so would have to verify offset.

That’s what Toyota says is on my truck. It means 7” wide by 16” with 25mm positive offset.

I have a 2013 Limited so it obviously has those same wheels. I just did a Bilstein leveling kit yesterday. It put the top of the wheel wells at 36" all around. Today I had 275/65r18 KO2s installed. I have removed the mudflaps previously, but I have no rubbing and have not done any trimming. The tires look great and fill the wheel well nicely. I like the slightly larger size and higher profile of the truck. Hope this helps.

You can fit 40s if you want but it's the matter how much you want to cut.

Biggest size with out cutting is 265s. Any.bigger start cutting.

Wrong! I just put 275/65r18s on my 2013 tacoma limited after a bilstein leveling kit. No cutting, no rub! Have you done this or you're just spouting off something you've heard?

My tacoma with stock tires would rub light shit of road if I flexed it. Why are you so upset with someone putting slightly bigger tires on their trucks? Not everyone is interested in beating the hell out if their trucks. Relax!

I'm not upset. It's just messed up poeple think lifts let you add bigger tires when that's not the case. Watch this food for thought

I did a 2 inch leveling strut, wheels and tires at a local shop called Pro Trucks. They have a guy thats a walking wheel and tire dictionary. He said I needed a 0 offset wheel and could go from the stock 265/65 R17 to a 265/70 R17 which is what I ended up doing. Gives me just about an inch or so of poke which I think gives it a good looking stance.

I've seen that. Ridiculous. Your point is well taken but that's really not what the thread was about at all. We were simply talking about a "slightly" larger tire.

    Like, so many.
Have you checked out the Skinny on skinny tires thread? You can do a true 33’ in a 255.
