Hey guys just wondering how big of a tire "in inches" that i can fit on my stock 2016 Sport?

I'm torn between getting the Boss kit from ToyTec and putting 33's on my truck, which costs a ton of money and I most likely won't be able to fit my truck in my garage.

The alternative would be to buy the beefiest tire i can and throw it on my truck.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks for the help!

If you are asking us if we think you should lift your truck and put bigger tires on it or just beefier tires but the same size you are going to get a unanimous, LIFT IT and GO BIGGER!!!!!!!!!

Haha cool, I just bought the Runner TRD Pro wheels and just that small addition to my stock truck has made it look sooo much better. I might become addicted to modding our my truck haha. I think I'm doing a Magnaflow exhaust next.

I just got the Boss 2.0 lift and the 275 70 17 KO2's. 1 inch block in the rear. Rides great! Slight loss in power but not a big deal. Gas mileage is down about 1 mpg or so.

I mounted 265/75r16 bfg ko2's and they don't rub even under full flex. Pretty sure that's the biggest you can go without a lift and/or cab mount chop. Make sure you compre the actual diameter of each manufacturers tires. These measure just under 32". A true 32" may rub.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    That's a stock size tire.

Wasn't fast enough, you already put that kit on.

If your a prerunner and looking to fit bigger tires get the Maxtrac spindle it will give you a 4 inch lift. Enough to fit the 33" you want. With a stock ride.

Huh? My truck is stock and I was responding to the original post. Factory tire's on my truck were 265/70/r16, the larger aspect ratio on 265/75/r16 nets a larger overall diameter. Perhaps his new rims are a different size, but it won't change the fact that he can't fit anything over a 32" tire without mods. Not sure about your ending comment.

I have Toyo MT 285 70 17's I have a little rub when turning sharp left . Tires rub on OEM mud flaps. I sanded the mud flaps down and have not rub since.

265/70/17 or 265/75/16 are the largest tires you can put on a stock sport suspension without rubbing.

The dealer is telling me with stock
    Suspension 275-70-17 will not rub.

I'm not sure what to get. Some say no rub, others say a little rub

I need to follow up to see if they have installed this size on a '16 or are just guessing.

I had 275/70R17 BFG's put on yesterday and it forsure rubs.

I'm gonna put a 1" level in the front end. Should sort it all out for under $100.

Thanks. It was a little over $2k for the lift and installation. That is also with the SPC UCA's.

    Hello all,

I am new to this forum, and I found this thread because I purchased a 2016 Taco TRD sport and wanted to put new tires on to go offroad. I used the information I gathered from here and purchased a set of BFG KO2s, 275/70R17. I put them on a set of steelies cause I plan to beat on them. These are the absolute maximum size that will fit. They almost want to touch the mud flaps, but I am removing them cause they will get trashed on rocks anyway. They are 5% larger diameter and 3% wider. Just though i would throw out my experience.
