Larry Chen Video: 2JZ Hawaii Tacoma

Just saw this interview by Larry Chen about a 2Jz swapped hawaii style tacoma. Pretty awesome build, really impressed that the dash works perfectly. I don’t think it’s my style but it’s definitely a significant accomplishment.

Just watched this the other day. Pretty cool that the engine and bell housing bolted right up to the factory transmission.

R150f just... bolts right up to the 2jz!!?
no frame mods. I mean he has a huge body lift on that thing in addition to the drop bracket so that may have helped his clearances.

Either way, that info alone made it worth the watch. good share op

 

Good point on the body lift + drop bracket possibly adding to the clearance. I might have to find this guy and ask him for some info!

 

Love the people that do these builds its amazing what these trucks can turn into!
