Thanks, I tracked down this thread searching for people who had the BAMF rack. I'm just looking for the height of a rig with a similar suspension set up to what I'm planning so I can try to figure out where I'll end up height wise

Yeah I can't really tell you the actual height from top to bottom as I don't have a tape measure with me. Hopefully I see @gordi this weekend and then we can measure it. I fit under a carport just barely at my apartment

Hahahahahaha you are such a cock man. I would never drive one of them POS.

But the rack has been doing great. Just need to mount a rotopax to the other side and I'll be good. For me the rack has the perfect height so I can put shit in the bed and whatever else I want. Plus the tent isnt sticking 100ft in the air which is good

HAHAHAHAH you have some great friends :luvya:

Thats good to hear, my current setup are 10 inch from bed. Any chance you still see your tent when looking out back window? Right now i can see anything out my back window sadly.

Yeah he's a douche. I'm not really friends with him.

But yeah i can see out of most my back window. The bed rack pole is in the way of about 1/4 of it but then again I'm 5'9" on a good day haha. And I sit fairly low and laid back in the seat which makes it easier to see out the back. Plus you can't really go wrong for that price tag on it

Yeah price is unreal! Haha Im 6'3" so might be a little different but definitely want a full blown rack. I wanted a brute force fab rack since it bolts down to the bed of the truck but are much more pricey

Yeah I didn't want a rack that bolted down to the bed of the truck. I wanted something that I could take off pretty easily, was fairly light weight, and looked good. But I drove this morning and you can actually almost see everything in the back. But again take into account my height. You definitely won't be disappointed. @gordi wants to build his own because he is a DIY douche bag. I think these look a lot better and cheaper than a lot of them on the market today.

I can also take some more pictures for you if you want.

would you mind posting a pick of the sides as they sit on the rails. Allpros taper down as the bedsides do but some don't follow the same lines.

Not sure if this is what you mean but heres what the back looks likes and how it bolts to the rails. You can still uses the bed rails also with this design.

Oh sweet okay, yeah what I was looking for is on the bed sides the cap where the bottom of the rack sits I was curious if it tapered in or stuck out at all. Gotta see if the rack is meant for LB and SB
