I had it off originally, but I started a new job in July. I already took two days off so I didn't want to take a 3rd so soon.

unfortunately I'm cursed in life with being an early bird, I can't sleep in even if I try so that works for me.

Any ideas on what the freq(s). will be?

So... as far as I know, it's me, @Prayn4surf and @2000man meeting tomorrow at the Arco off I-15/Deer Springs at 12:30ish for a caravan up to San G. Anyone else want to join in on the Tacovan?

I believe each trail leader is going to choose their frequency of choice prior to the run. @BLKTRUCK, any particular frequency you want to assign for folks at the campsite to communicate betwixt each other while at camp?

"base camp" should have a common freq separate from each trail run. The Ham guys should choose on a local repeater for use and maybe a simplex channel aside from the common base camp channel.

I completely agree, I don’t have a radio setup good enough or a license. If you or anybody willing to help organize I would appreciate it.

151.880 would be recommend for the trail run since not everyone will be licensed, I personally don't care if non licensed peeps utilize that freq, but others might, you never know

sounds good, unless being utilized by a local business

and for the HAM dudes who wish to use a repeater I would recommend either the Big Bear or Keller Peak Repeaters unless someone knows of a better repeater to use. Both have wide coverage

    Big Bear Repeater
