    That's all I did as well. But I do remember heat shrinking them as well just to give it a little bit of moisture proof... sorta...

    Okay then. What about your antenna spring? I have a spare (brand new... really) and can pick that up when I swing by my storage unit tomorrow. Also, that F'N MONSTER spring you have, even though it doesn't have the right "mount"/mating, is just too BEEFY for a 4-4.5ft whip!!! :eek::goingcrazy: A spring similar to the one you have is meant for the 9ft whips (a.k.a. 102's).

    Does electrical tape count as moisture proof :anonymous:. I got another antenna spring too, so far so good, currently have my 5 footer on it with no problems. Oh and the air pump delivery eta is Monday now, I’ll let you know when it arrives

    Some people like sour cream and Doritos, which I do also, but not nearly as much as the 2x I mentioned above. The sour cream loses its "luster", if you will, after a few bites... for me at least.
