With my Taco pretty new I'm still getting used to everything and was noticing a shifting "issue" a couple of times on the highway. It seems to shift really late when getting up past 50mph. It usually takes getting up to about 65-68 mph and about 3k rpm before it shifts. Is this just something in general with taco's or should I be concerned about it at all?

That's fine. Power band isn't even until 3400. Atkinson engines rev high.

Hm, interesting. I guess as long as it isn't something "wrong" I'll just have to get used to it. Thanks!

These things pull hard once you get them wound up good ! It’s quite impressive coming from a 2nd Gen 4.0, which seemed to scream louder and go slower the more I put the pedal down

Do a quick search. About a "bazillion" posts about this.

Totally normal and yes, it's different.
