Looking at picking up a Launch 431 Pros Mini bi-directional scan tool so that I can do a bit more than my regular OBD II reader can, and since I have a couple of vehicles, Techstream isn't really the solution.

My questions for anyone that has/had one (or a similar Launch product) are:

    1. Thoughts? Any reason NOT to buy it?

    2. As far as the subscription goes, if I let it lapse for a couple of years can I then update it for a one year price and get all the updates, or is like Snap-On where they charge you for all the updates in between? In other words, my update subscription runs out in 2022... I don't update it for 3 years, and then in 2025, pay for updates; will I only have to pay for the one year, or the years in between as well?
